Shore Fishing

Shore fishing, fishing from the shore, harbor, a pier, jetty, or coast, without using a boat. It's ideal for easily accessing fish-rich spots in freshwater or saltwater. It includes techniques such as surfcasting (fishing in the surf), fishing from jetties or piers, and targeted casting to structures like weeds, deep channels, and sandbars, often targeting areas where fish are hiding from the current. It's accessible to beginners and requires good knowledge of the location to find the best spots. Look for deep holes, currents, and areas around structures.

Techniques
Casting: Cast your line as far as possible, but also focus on reaching "deeper" or "darker" waters with lures or live bait.
Current: Use the current; fish in the lee of rocks, near bottlenecks, or drag your lure through the current where fish are waiting for food.
Skinny Water: Fish in shallow water close to shore, often successfully at high tide on sandy beaches.

Advantages
Accessible: No boat required, easier for beginners.
Safe: Fishing close to shore makes it easier to hook and release fish.
Versatile: Can be practiced on many different waters and with various techniques.Advantages.
